our first apartment
last week my boyfriend and i signed a lease for our very first apartment together. it's absolutely perfect. it's affordable, clean, well-managed, charming, and close to my school. most importantly, it's ours! we've lived together before, sharing my tiny bedroom. but it was MY tiny bedroom, no matter how much i tried to make it feel like OURS. come mid november, however, we will have a blank canvas of an apartment to make ours.
after such a difficult year, this is such a huge win. our very own place. the beginning of us living together forever. i will miss living with my roommates so much, but am eager to host them at my new place all of the time. this truly feels like the right thing for us. i am so happy, inspired, excited, and full of love.
